One of the hottest topics right now in the CIS football recruiting circles is the repatriation rule.
This rule allows Canadian players to return home and play in the CIS immediately without sitting out a year, which had been the case up until two years ago.
Over the course of those years, several blue chip recruits who have spent years trying to sign in the NCAA have bounced back to Canadian Universities. They are doing so because they know there is an opportunity to play immediately without sitting out that transfer year.
Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
