Game five
Manitoba-Gold recovered from an opening day loss at the hands of rival Saskatchewan, opening Tuesday morning’s action with a 13-0 victory over New Brunswick.
Manitoba defensive back Galata Gurmu lead the hometown squad with an interception and two punt blocks. Gurmu’s second punt block and return inside the 10-yard line set-up Manitoba’s second score.
Dual-threat quarterback, Hunter Sturgeon, lead the way for New Brunswick with 94-yards on the ground to go along with 57-yards through the air.

Lead by a pair of Adam Bennett touchdown runs, Nova Scotia defeated Manitoba-Silver, 22-15. Manitoba-Silver clawed back with a pair of second-half Dylan Ford touchdown strikes, but it was not enough.
