THE VANIER COLLEGE MEN’S AAA FOOTBALL CHEETAHS SUFFERED A 47-25 DEFEAT AT THE HANDS OF VISITING F.X. GARNEAU THIS PAST SATURDAY AT THE VANIER COLLEGE FOOTBALL FIELD IN ST. LAURENT.

The Cheetahs offence was led by star quarterback Jérémi Doyon-Roch, (left) who completed 18 of 33 pass attempts for 225 yards and two touchdown passes. Matthew Norzil was Doyon-Roch’s favorite target with 7 catches for 102 yards and a touchdown while Vincent Cléroux also crossed the goal line with a major score as he hauled in 3 passes for 35 yards. Alexandre Piché had a strong game with 4 receptions for 39 yards. |
Defensively, Vanier was paced by all-star Byron Perez-Archambault (right) who notched 16 tackles and Alexandre Lefebvre-Tardif who recorded 8 tackles on the day.
The Cheetahs will be looking to return to the win column this coming Saturday, September 11th, when they travel to Edouard-Montpetit (0-2).
The kick-off is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
