Kalvin Johnson (#21), all-star defensive back from Brampton, Ontario made it official that he is going to attend the University of Western Ontario. Featured in an earlier CFC article, Kalvin was an all star at the 2010 Football Canada Cup. Western head coach Greg Marshall had this to say about the Brampton product:
“Kalvin is outstandng athlete who can can contribute both offensively, defensively and on special teams. Our coaches felt he was one of the top players graduating from an Ontario high school this year. He has played a lot of football and has been very well-coached. His football skills and attitude are a great reflection of the quality in minor and high school football being played in Brampton.”
Kalvin joins other Team Ontario west players Peter Gray, Alex Kurowski, Trevor Lass and Daryl Waud in the 2011 Western Mustang recruiting class.
