
Today CFC features class of 2011 defensive lineman from Halifax, Nova Scotia Terrence Mendes. He started playing football 10 years ago with the Halifax Argos and this 6’1″ 325 lbs has been a terror ever since.

As mentioned above Terrence started his football days with the Halifax Argos in 2001. In 2005 he was the MVP of his Argo team. In 2006 he was the peewee maritime finals most outstanding player. He followed this up with a team MVP in 2007 for the Redhawks. In 2008 Terrence was the Citadel defensive rookie of the year. 2009 was a big year, achieving most valuable player in a Wilson Challenge (U17) game, NSSAF (high school) defensive lineman of the year, and 1st team all star. In 2010 Terrence was the provincial defensive player of the year and Football Nova Scotia high school player of the year.
His most memorable football moment was “running on to field after winning our 3rd provincial championship in a row”.
He credits all of the following coaches for his football success: “Andrew Mcload, Mike Tanner, Jeff Lawley, Harrison Petropolis, and Dan Parker”.
