
Kevin Kwasny, a 4th year student from Winnipeg Manitoba (St. Paul’s high school) is in stable but critical condition after being taken to the hospital during the Concordia vs. Bishop’s game on Saturday afternoon. Kwasny was taken to hospital after he started to vomit during the game. After he was rushed to the hospital he was taken to intensive care and surgery was performed due to a brain hemorrhage.
It is not known when the injury took place during the game. During halftime of the game Kwasny began to feel disoriented and took sick. He was taken to the hospital.
Head coach Tony Addona told [URL]http://www.cyberpresse.ca (sherbrooke french newspaper) that his “condition is stable. The next 24 hours will be critical.”
Kwasny’s parents flew from Winnipeg to accompany their son. Hopes and prayers are with Kevin, his family, and the Gaiters.
