To go along with the endless line of very talented newcomers and returnee’s to the Brampton Bears Football Club, today marks the largest to arrive. Jake Bateman 6”10 300+ lbs of Madoc Ontario was delivered to GM Craig Boyd’s office by his parents.
We are very excited to have Jake committed and ready to play. Jake is a Toronto Argo prospect with a huge upside to go along with his huge frame. We are expecting to have him be a very solid performer on our newly ramped up offensive line.
“I am very excited to have Jake on board; he is a very good kid and comes from great family. It was really nice to sit down and chat with them about their son’s future which is very bright” Boyd Says.
“What I really like about Jake and his family is that they are very real and very grounded”, “they know where they come from and they won’t forget it, I have all the time in the world for folks like this” Boyd has committed to working with Bateman to go along with the top notch coaching of Chris Marshall and Tommy Denison. “It’s a big new world for Jake and I will do everything I can to make the transition a little easier” Craig said.
