The Mississauga Football League (MFL) will be hosting a free information session Saturday afternoon at a costume shop in Clarkson.
The event will take place between 2 and 5 p.m. at Fee Fi Fo Fun, located on Lakeshore Rd. W, two lights east of Southdown Rd. Coaches and volunteers will be on hand to answer questions from potential players and their parents.
Everyone who attends Saturday’s gathering will be entered into a raffle for a free costume and a pair of Toronto Argonauts tickets.
As well, parents can register their children for the 2012 summer flag football season, which runs from the end of May to the end of July, or the fall tackle program, operating from September to November.
The MFL is entering its 42nd season. It offers flag football for children between the ages of seven and 12 and tackle football for children between nine and 17. All equipment costs are covered through the registration fee and no experience is required.
