Moe Petrus attended Tampa Bay Buccaneers mini-camp last weekend . Petrus, who was selected 10th overall by Hamilton in 2011, was signed to a contract by the Buccaneers on Monday and is now expected to attend the team’s training camp in July.
Petrus, a native of St. Laurent, Quebec was a member and team captain of the 2005 Team Canada Global Junior Championship team and MVP of the championship game. He helped Vanier to the CEGEP AAA Championship in 2006 with a 12-1 record.
Petrus just completed his red-shirt senior season with the Connecticutt Huskies where he was a four year starter.
