The RSEQ (Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec) is open to discussion in light of today’s announcement by McGill University that it has applied to transfer its football program to the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) conference beginning in the 2013 season.
“The RSEQ views this application as an opportunity to reflect on the structure of our league,” said John Bower, RSEQ director of university programs. He adds that “Over the coming months, we will work with all of our members to address their concerns in order to map out a vision that will strengthen our league.”
The RSEQ is confident that upon completion of this reflection, McGill will choose to remain as a valued member of its university football league.
