Over the course of his football career, Drew has proven that he’s an offensive force to be reckoned with on the field. Among the teams he’s previously suited up for include the Lloydminster Chargers and the Lloydminster Red Dogs.

However, his greatest success came while playing for his high school team, the Holy Rosary Raiders of the Wheatland Football League (WFL). During his time with the team, the offensive standout was a two time team MVP (2011, 2012) and a two time league offensive MVP (2011, 2012). Additionally, the star player was selected to play for Team Alberta North in the Senior Bowl game.

This past season, Drew experienced the highlight of his football career.

“My most memorable experience would be in grade 12 and winning league championship for the first time since Holy Rosary moved to 12 man four years ago,” explains the Raiders running back.

Recently, Drew decided that he wants to continue the next chapter of his gridiron and academic life at the University of Saskatchewan.

“In making my decision to go to the University of Saskatchewan, there were three big factors: great coaches, history ofwinning and have a good engineering program,” adds the future Huskies player, who will study engineering at the school.

There are two individuals who’ve been main influences in Drew’s life.

“The most influential people in my life are my mom and my coach Vince Orieux,” says the Raiders running back. “They taught me that if you have a dream or a goal, no matter how big it is, you can reach it with hard work and determination.”

Overall, the game of football has taught him one key thing that’s brought him success on and off the field.

“Football taught me forgiveness and how to be patient,” comments Drew.
