The Sarnia Sturgeons started off the 2013 season with a win last weekend over the Twin City Predators (final score was 28-14). The Sturgeons hope to keep their undefeated record intact this week as they take on the Guelph Bears. The Bears are looking to avenge last week’s embarrassing 73-0 loss against the Burlington Stampeders. That game takes place Saturday at the University of Guelph at 1:00pm.
In other OFC action the Senior Varsity Forest City Thunderbirds look to keep their winning ways intact as they take on the Guelph Bears. The Thunderbirds are coming off a big 33-0 win over the Niagara Storm. The Bears on the other hand are looking to get into the win column after losing 25-18 against the Burlington Stampedes. That game takes place Saturday at 5:00pm at the University of Guelph.
The Junior Varsity Thunderbirds have a bye this week. Their next game is June 8th against the Brantford Bison.
