The finals for both age groups will be held as usual at McGill’s Percival Molson Stadium (July 14 & 15) in Montreal; and all 8 placement games will be ‘live streamed’ through a High Definition (HD) Pay-Per-View (PPV) network on CanadaFootballChat.com.

Here is a look at the U-17 division:
Rive-Sud de Québec:
Led by Levis-Lauzon head coach Richard Savoie and fellow coaches, the defending champions are looking to pick up where they left off in 2011. Having various returners back in the lineup and some fresh faces bringing new weapons to both the offence and defence, they look to repeat the same result as in last years tournament. They are once again seen as the favorites. In 2011 , they hurt opposing defences with both the run and the pass, the team seems to have the same balance it had a year ago.
Équipe métro-scolaire
Coming off a 4th place finish in 2011, E.M.S is looking to find their way in the top 3 having gained experience in 2011. In last years tournament, they showed to have a well balanced team and surprised a lot of people, they will be looking for their top players to step up and bring them to the championship.
Nova Scotia

Élites de Québec
Led by experienced coach Nick Grenier, Les Elites de Quebec will be looking for a good result at this years tournament. Having experienced players on both sides of the ball will be their key to victory. Known for having a very strong defences in the past, Quebec city’s finest will look to show they are ready to play with the best and compete for the 2012 championship.
Élites QBFL
Having had their last appearance in the Wilson Challenge in 2009, The team will be looking for a fresh start. With many of their players having never played in the tournament, it will be a good chance for them to gain some experience and also turn some heads along the way.
Laval-Laurentides-Lanaudière
With 12 players returning from last years squad, they will look to take their experience into a top 3 finish come 2012. Head coach Marc Allaire expects the team to build and become better every play. Coming off a 3rd place finish in 2011 , they will look to do better and compete for the championship.
Outaouais
The team is looking for a better finish then last year but are building off the positive experienced they gained in 2011. Having a good number of players back but also carries a very young roster. Their Head coach believes both of his young Quarterbacks have the potential to do some great things with the football and will develop into elite Pivots. The team will be led by veterans Sébastien Rochon, Griffin Harding, Olivier Seguin and Max Chainey who bring experience to the team. Coming off a 7th place finish in 2011 , the team looks for a better result in this years tournament.
Estrie / Centre du Québec
This team has high expectations for 2012, having many players returning. Head coach Marc-André Desrochers believes that his squad can bring the championship home if they work together. The team is built of their speed and has a good balance on both offence and defence. Players to watch on the squad will be Linebacker Olivier Dupuis And defensive back Alexandre Lebreton on defence. On the Offensive side of the ball receivers Marc-Étienne Dupont et Marc-Antoine Pivin will be their primary targets.
The U-17 division is always highly competitive and offers some great football to watch for fans.

Tournament news:
The big news is the opening match of the tournament in the Under-17 (U17) category that will be held in Quebec (Cégep de Lévis-Lauzon) between South Shore (Champions 2011) and Elites Quebec (returning in the tournament after a year’s absence).
Again this year, eight teams in both the Under-15 and U17 age categories will compete for top honors at the most prestigious football tournament in Quebec. Over 900 players and 150 coaches will attend the 16th edition of the Wilson Challenge. Nova Scotia will be entering a team in the U17 category.
