CFC TOP 100 player gets eighth NCAA Division 1 offer
This past Thursday, cornerback Matthew Boetang received an offer from Indiana Hoosiers. In an article by Charles Doss of the Crimson Quarry, the 6’0, 180 pound native of Pickering, Ontario confirmed that Hoosiers Cornerbacks Coach Brandon Shelby made the offer.
“He thinks I’d fit in great and could start at corner early,” added Boateng in his interview with Doss.
In addition to this offer, Boateng has previous others to consider from Kansas Jayhawks, Bowling Green Falcons, University of Buffalo Bulls, Nevada Wolfpack, Villanova Wildcats, Charleston Southern Buccaneers and Marshall Thundering Herd.
CFC TOP 100’s Boateng is currently playing at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. Previous to IMG, the Ontario defensive standout has suited up for his former high school Pickering Trojans of the Lake Ontario Secondary School Athletic Association (LOSSAA), and both the Ajax-Pickering Dolphins and the Oshawa Hawkeyes of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL).
Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
