BC high school week 7 notable performances: Four 275+ yard rushers

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES

 

 

  • W.J. Mouat CFC TOP 100 RB Maleek Irons had 15 carries for a whopping 462 yards and six touchdowns in his team’s 63-38 win over Centennial.
  • Mt. Douglas CFC TOP 100 RB Marcus Davis scored three touchdowns on just five touches in his team’s 52-0 win over Handsworth. His touchdowns came by a five-yard TD rush, a 59-year punt return and a 44-yard catch.
  • Lord Tweedsmuir RB Jamel Lyles had 23 carries for 289 yards while scoring four touchdowns in his team’s 48-16 win over Rutland.
  • Notre Dame RB Nick Carusi had a pair of rushing touchdowns as part of his team’s 28-0 win over West Vancouver.
  • John Barsby QB Ty Marshall put up 329 yards of total offence, including throwing a pair of touchdown passes, in his team’s 28-14 win over Windsor.
  • Mission QB Evan Horton rushed for four touchdowns and threw for another in his team’s 55-27 win over GW Graham.
  • Carson Graham RB A.J. Blackwell had nine carries for 203 yards while scoring four touchdowns in his team’s 59-7 win over Argyle.
  • Duchess Park QB Rylan Matters went 25-of-33 for 363 yards and six touchdowns in his team’s dominating 57-18 win over Kelly Road.
  • Hugh Boyd RB Kory Nagata rushed 11 times for 318 yards and had three touchdowns, including scoring one on a 50-yard fumble return, in his team’s 49-12 triumph over Spectrum.
  • South Delta RB Will Kraynyk had just three carries but rushed for 160 yards and had a pair of touchdowns in his team’s 37-6 win over Seaquam.
  • Ballenas QB Garrin McDonnell went 6-of-10 for 149 yards while throwing three touchdown passes in his team’s 48-19 win over Frank Hurt.
  • Rick Hansen QB Alex Ho went 11-of-18 for 281 yards while throwing three touchdown passes to REC Brad Atkinson.
  • Robert Bateman CFC TOP 100 RB Ben Cummings had 23 carries for 372 yards while scoring five touchdowns in his team’s 41-25 win over Pitt Meadows.
  • St. Thomas More CFC TOP 100 QB Malcolm Lee had 73 yards passing and 117 yards rushing and rushed for a touchdown with 37 seconds left to lift his team to a 19-12 win over Terry Fox.
