The Sir John A MacDonald Flames has served notice that they want a spot in the Tier 1 playoffs.

“We picked the wrong night to play a well-prepared Sir John A team,” commented Judges Head Coach Steve Saunders after the game. “They executed every play to perfection and our team forgot everything we worked on…not to mention 12 penalties and four turnovers in the first half.”
“We would show a hint of football then throw it all away. In 21 years of coaching, I’ve only had a total collapse such as this four or five times where we prepared for everything only to watch it take place before our very eyes and do nothing about it. Kudos to Sir John A, they deserve to be at the top of our division and deserve to be in the final four.”
The Flames are now 5-1 on the season while the Judges slide to 5-2.
Next up for the Flames is the Dartmouth High Spartans on Monday October 28th, 2013 at Burnside Turf. Kickoff is 5:00pm. Meanwhile, the Judges will regroup as they will enjoy a bye this upcoming week.
