For the seventh time in the last eight seasons, the VI Raiders are the BCFC champions.
The Raiders captured their seventh title in franchise historyon Saturday afternoon with a 48-37 win over the visiting Langley Rams to capture the Cullen Cup.
The Raiders’ season is far from over, however. They’ll now move on to face the Windsor AKO Fratmen of the OFC in the Jostens Cup with the winner advancing to the Canadian Bowl.
The Fratmen defeated the Hamilton Hurricanes 16-9 last week in the OFC championship.
The Jostens Cup goes this Saturday, October 26 at Windsor Stadium. Game time is 11:05 am PT.
