Brampton – Brampton Minor Football is pleased to announce John Terry as the Head Coach of the Varsity Program.
John brings a wealth of experience to this new role as Head Coach. John graduated from Johnson C Smith University in South Carolina and went on to play for the Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Bears of the NFL. Following his playing time in the NFL John came north to play for Toronto Argos and played 8 years in the CFL with the Argos and Saskatchewan Roughriders.
John started his coaching career at York University as a Dline coach where he coached Ricky Foley over the next few years he coached the Oline at York. John has been coaching Oline within the Brampton Football system for the past 5 years most recently as the Oline coach with the OVFL Bulldogs and OFC Bears programs.
John has stated “that his main goal is to use his vast knowledge of what it took to play 10+ years of professional football and his coaching experience at the university level to get the players of Brampton ready for the next levels”
