BC high school week 10 notable performances: CFC TOP 100 Irons & Cummings dominate

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES:

 

  • W.J. Mouat RB Maleek Irons [CFC TOP 100] saw limited duty but still racked up 155 yards on six carries while rushing for a pair of touchdowns in his team’s 49-24 win over Notre Dame. Iron’s teammate RB Jacob Dodd had 11 carries for 101 yards and one touchdown, while RB Slater McRae had three carries for 82 yards and two touchdowns.
  • St. Thomas More QB Malcolm Lee had a big night on the ground rushing for 193 yards and three touchdowns to lift his team to a 43-21 win over Belmont.
  • Vancouver College RB Ovie Odjegba had 10 carries for 176 yards and two touchdowns while teammate RB Robbie Welch had 13 carries for 98 yards and also two touchdowns to help VC defeat Mt. Boucherie 34-21.
  • Carson Graham RB A.J. Blackwell had 17 carries for 160 yards and touchdowns, while also recording a 99-yard fumble recovery return in his team’s 35-18 win over Robert Bateman. Robert Bateman RB Ben Cummings [CFC TOP 100] had 24 carries for 156 yards and one touchdown, while adding a pair of touchdown receptions as well, in the loss.
  • Rick Hansen QB Alex Ho threw a pair of touchdowns to REC Zach Toews in his team’s 14-7 win over Windsor. Ho finished 8-of-19 for 173 yards, while Toews finished with three catches for 83 yards.
  • John Barsby RB Kyle Vollett had six carries for 92 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also adding a 94-yard pick-six in his team’s 55-7 win over Pitt Meadows.
  • Mission RB Jesse Walker rushed for a pair of touchdowns and caught two others in his team’s 33-7 win over Ballenas. He also had two interceptions and seven tackles on the defensive side of things. He finished the game with 296 all-purpose yards.
  • Vernon RB Karson Patommel had 21 carries for 244 yards while rushing for a pair of touchdowns to lead his team to a 42-7 win over Seaquam. He also had 10 tackles and a sack on the defensive side.
