The team has made some coaching changes heading into the main camp. Co-Head coach Tom Fong has stepped down for personal reasons and Rebels alumni Ryan Henderson has been appointed Defensive Coordinator. Andrew Axhorn will continue as Head Coach. The rest of the coaching team is as follows; Sheldon Halliman (Assistant Head Coach/Linebackers), Eric Eggleston (Receivers), Randy Mar (Defensive Backs), Drew Rands (D- Line & O-Line), Byrce Rands (Offensive Coordinator) and James Robertson (Special Teams/Strength & Conditioning).
The Westshore Rebels Junior football team main camp kicks off this weekend at Westhills Stadium (1089 Langford Parkway) on Saturday July 5 at 10am-12 & 2-4. On Sunday July 6 the team will hold a full gear scrimmage from 12-2.
