Recap OFC championship: Hurricanes, Stamps take the titles (stats)

VARSITY

Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC) and CFC 100 QB Liam Putt led his team to a second straight Ontario Football Conference Varsity title on Saturday.  An efficient 10 for 18 passing performance, hooking up with his favourite receiver and fellow OPC all-star participant, brother Emmett Putt.  The Stallions were lead by running back Matt Howe who was very effective with 138 yards and one touchdown.

JUNIOR VARSITY

After a dramatic upset win over the previously undefeated Burlington Stampeders, the Hurricanes did not have a let down. Getting down early, the Hurricanes regrouped and cruised to a convincing victory by scoring 39 unanswered points.

QB Connor Carusello had an impressive day passing for 3 touchdowns and completing 18 of 29 attempts.  His favourite target was Tyson Middlemost who had 2 touchdowns and 136 yards on 11 catches.
