The Nelson Lords defeated St. Peter Knights in Ottawa on Friday 28-7. Nelson scored early and built a 26-7 Halftime lead on three rushing touchdowns by Nori Kaltsidis. Adam Preocanin added a field goal and two single points. The second half would see both teams empty their benches and the Knights concede a safety for a final score of 28-7.
Nelson will welcome its most heated rival – the Holy Trinity Titans on Friday September 12th to open the 2014 Halton Football Season.
