RECAP BY LISA LEHMANN

Stampeders undefeated against Twin Cities

A cold, wet, and hard fought 21 to 7 win for the JV Burlington Stampeders on Sunday against Twin Cities.

The weather was tough and competition was fierce as both teams battled on the gridiron.  Tenacity and determination was a key to success.

RB, #28 Nathan Langley proved his dedication to his team as he battled yard after yard for the win.  With an amazing 17 carries, 192 yards rushing and 1 touchdown he proved his commitment to his team, helping them clinch the win.

Langley has been playing football with the BMFA since 2007, and with the Stampeders since 2009.

It is a family affair, dad Bill is an offensive coach with the team.  Mom, Karen is a dedicated volunteer working hard for the Burlington organization.  Football is a family commitment on and off the field.

The team worked together and hard against Twin Cities, an equally talented and disciplined team.

Following in the footsteps of the JV team, the Varsity Stampeders pulled off a 42-12 win against Twin Cities.  Record now 2 and 0.

Week 2 predictions were close.  Predicting a 32-18 win for the stamps predictions showed how close and hard the Stamps and TC play at Varsity level.  The Stamps are back, and yes fighting hard!
