CALGARY – New head coach Wayne Harris and the University of Calgary Dinos will take the field next week for their 2015 fall training camp, powered by Perpetual Energy.
Led by Hec Crighton-winning quarterback Andrew Buckley, the Dinos will feature the new-look offence of Offensive Coordinator Ryan Sheahan, who joined Calgary in the off-season from Queen’s University. Buckley is joined by six other returning CIS All-Canadians from last year’s record-setting squad.
Camp opens on Saturday, Aug. 15, kicking off 11 practice days before the team’s exhibition game against the Regina Rams Wednesday, Aug. 26 in Medicine Hat, Alta. The first day of camp will take place at the EDGE School in Springbank, moving to McMahon Stadium on Sunday, Aug. 16.
The Dinos will open the 2015 Canada West season at home on Friday, Sept. 4 as they host Blake Nill and the UBC Thunderbirds at McMahon Stadium.
