This second game of a round trip between the two longtime rivals gave many difficulties for thwe young Rebels.
Intercepted passes, poorly executed drives, and loose balls recovered by the Patriots is what led to the Rebels loss. With only the thought to avenge their defeat in the first game of this home-and-home series, the Patriots came to the game with the intention of coming away with a win.
From the beginning of the game they managed an interception and games and scored a touchdown fast. However, the Rebels were not able to provide much of a response. Tthe Patriots played a tough game with all their resources and came out on top with a 38-7 win.
After the game, Marc-Antoine Joseph, Rebels Head Coach and Dffensive Coordinator commented after the game.
”Mentally our young team was not ready for the challenge of winning two games against this experienced team,” said Joseph. “Missed tackles, poorly executed passes, runs in the wrong direction is what caused our loss.”
“Although this party makes learning it will take in the next practical work on that competition.”
Offensive coordinator Nicholas Robitaille also provided his thoughts after the game.
“It was a very hard game for our offence,” said Robitaille. “Nothing worked early in the game.”
“It was a very tough opponent to play a bad game. We’ll enjoy the use the next two weeks to make necessary adjustments in order to achieve our team goals before the next game.”
