Just read – k-rob’s blog’s

I couldn’t really think of a name for this blog haha anyways…. blog time:

Man last time I did a blog was Halloween! Geeze! I’ve just been in the gym, school, and football. There hasn’t been much too really blog about, my life has been pretty robotic. That’s just the way I like it. I realized that this summer I defiantly have to step my game up, and hopefully it will be epic. Last summer I thought I went hard in the training, but now when I have time to look back and reflect I say to myself, “last year was pathetic”. This only just motivates me to take it to the next level.

Last season could have gone better for us at Con U. This year was a big learning curve for use as we are still a young team. I am aware I spoke the same words last year but remember this, “Rome wasn’t built in a day”, and it doesn’t happen over night it takes patience. Next year indeed will be a better year for us as we have a really great class of recruits coming in. We had an amazing recruiting class last year, and I couldn’t be happier. A lot of our guys are working hard, especially our first years. They came in with fire in their eyes and made camp a lot more competitive compared to my first year. It’s a new generation at Con U and I have a feeling with hard work and good teamwork we can achieve greatness. This past year has brought on a lot of changes to our coaching staff. But the way I look at it is. What’s done is done and it is best to play the cards you have been dealt. I have complete trust in my coaches and I know my teammates do too, and at the end of the day that’s all the matters.

Next season I’ll be going into my third year. This whole experience has gone by so fast. I remember my first blog I wrote, it doesn’t even seem that long ago. It’s crazy the transition that I have made, I was 165 my first year and I’m 183 now and still climbing. Bigger, Faster, Stronger every football players motto in the off season, if not then I don’t know what to say to you lol. Everything happens slowly but surely, something that I have learned in my two years of university. You have to have patience if you want to succeed at what you do. You’re always going to set backs in anything that you do. This is another thing that I have learned in my time here at Con U. But it is key to embrace the set backs and take them as the learning process, but most importantly triumph.

Well that’s all for now folks, I’ll definitely have some footage this summer of different training videos; I encourage you to check them out and subscribe to my YouTube page and follow me on twitter for updates. See ya soon!

This is a quote that everyone knows and it fits perfectly for my summer, if something seems impossible… “Just do it” – Nike
