CEGEP recruit hopes to be final Stingers’ puzzle piece (VIDEO)

Saint Leonard offensive lineman recently signs with RSEQ team.

Frank Tsagatakis Jr felt one team is heading is the right direction.

As a result, the 6’6, 300 pound offensive lineman from Saint Leonard, Quebec has signed with the Concordia Stingers. Tsagatakis Jr will join the team for the 2015 RSEQ season.

“I decided to commit to Concordia mainly because it is the team in the RSEQ on the rise,” explained Tsagatakis Jr of his decision.  “I didn’t want to go to a school and just simply be a number.”

“Concordia made me feel really at home and that I could be a piece of the puzzle to be Vanier Cup champions and end up being the best person I can be. I trust the coaching staff and I blend well with the players.”

Tsagatakis Jr recently completed a stint with CEGEP Division 2 team, John Abbott College Islanders.  This past season, he did not allow any sacks on pass protection while guiding the team to a 7-2 regular season record.  The Islanders made it to the semi-finals this year.
