The 6’4″, 270lbs offensive line prospect originally hails from St-Georges, Quebec, and spent his CEGEP career playing at Beauce-Appalaches. Although they went winless this past season, that wasn’t the norm at all for Fortin during his high school career at Polyvante Belanger, where he took home back-to-back championships. UConn were the only NCAA team to extend an offer, and he’ll be joined by fellow Quebec natives CFC60 receiver Kevens Clercius, CFC60 quarterback Jonathan Senecal, who also signed earlier in the day, and CFC60 quarterback Jack Zerigiotis, who just finished his first season on campus. The Huskies also signed CFC100 Carter Hooper out of IMG Academy, and are already home to CFC100s Lwal Uguak, and Russell Dixon.
