CJFL: Morris magnificent in record breaking performance

Magnificent Morris
The Westshore Rebels regained second place in the BCFC after their 37-22 victory over the Kamloops Broncos on Saturday night.

The Rebels were led by Greg Morris (#22) who had an incredible game, rushing 24 times for 405 yards and four touchdowns.  His yardage smashes a Canadian Junior Football League record for yards in a single game.  The record was just set two weeks ago by Jordan Samoil of the Edmonton Wildcats who rushed for 365 yards on 33 carries.  Two of Morris’ touchdowns came from 62 and 91 yards out. He needs just six yards to pass Andrew Harris for second all time in BCFC history.  Oddly enough the Rebels play the Raiders to conclude the season on Saturday.
