Laval attracts three CFC60s, plus one other

Laval adds four Québec commits to their 2020 class.

Marc-Olivier Boucher, a receiver from Cégep de Lévis-Lauzon, and CFC60 Charles-Lee Alarie-Tardif, a defensive end from Champlain College Lennoxville, are looking to be the best with the Laval Rouge et Or.

CFC60 linebackers Étienne Amiot and Samuel Gagné from Champlain College Lennoxville will also be joining the Rouge et Or.

Marc-Olivier Boucher

Marc-Olivier Boucher is ready to learn all he can from his new team.

“I chose this school because I know that it’s a place where I will become the best football player I can become,” Boucher said. “Also, the teammates seem very nice, and I know some of them.”

He added that he knows the coaches will teach him how to be a better player and a better person. “I heard a lot of good stuff about them, and my first impression is excellent. I know that I will have a great relationship with every one of them,” he said.

“I will learn a lot from them because they have a lot to teach me…Team spirit is something very important for me, and it’s one of their values too.”

The 5’9, 165lbs slotback spent three seasons with Les Faucons du Lévis-Lauzon (RSEQ Division 1). He is interested in studying industrial relationships.

CFC60 Charles-Lee Alarie-Tardif

Charles-Lee Alarie-Tardif knows what it takes to be the best. He said he chose Laval because “to be in the excellence, you need to practice with the most talented player in the country.”

He added that the Rouge et Or has the best coaching staff and facilities. He also said that the coaches will help him grow as an athlete and a person.

Alarie-Tardif will be taking the social work program. The 6’2, 260lbs defensive end played with the Champlain College Lennoxville Cougars (RSEQ Division 1) in cégep. He helped the team win a Bol d’Or in 2017 and 2019. He also won ‘rookie of the year’ for the Cougars.

CFC60 Étienne Amiot

Étienne Amiot is also a member of the Cougars. Standing at 6’2, 210lbs, he also played at Séminaire Saint-François in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, Québec.

CFC60 Samuel Gagné

Fellow Cougar and linebacker, Gagné is 5’11, 215lbs. He also played at Séminaire Saint-François as a outside linebacker and running back.
