The 6’5″, 285lbs prospect originally hails from Montreal, QC, where he suited up at Selwyn House to begin his high school career, and then eventually decided to make the move down south to play at Loomis Chaffee in Connecticut to finish off his studies.

Lorenzetti fielded a ton of offers from all over the NCAA including Georgia, Penn State, Syracuse, Duke, Baylor and Michigan State amongst others, but in the end the momentum building at the Big House was enough to seal the deal. He’s the first Canadian to commit to Michigan since CFC100 DE Luiji Vilain from the Class of 2017, and some may forget that CFC100 DB Benjamin St-Juste also began his career with the Wolverines before transferring to conference rivals Minnesota, and now plays for the Washington Football Team in the NFL.
