Peterborough recruit signs with Gee-Gees

Peterborough offensive lineman joins RSEQ team’s 2016 class.

It was all about perfect timing for Mitchell Eisan.

Recently, the 6’2 295 pound offensive lineman from Peterborough, Ontario signed with the Ottawa Gee-Gees.  Eisan will join the team for the 2016 OUA season.

“I decided to go to Ottawa because of its prestigious business program and how put together the football team is,” explained Eisan of his decision.  “When introduced to the program, I got a real family feel all the guys were gentlemen and truly cared about the team.”

“Coach [Jamie] Baressi builds a program around hard work, determination and dedicated guys which are what I am all about. The time was right for me to come into the Ottawa program and I am glad because I wouldn’t rather go to work for any other head coach or staff than that at Ottawa University.”

The lineman has previously suited up for both the Oshawa Hawkeyes of the Ontario Varsity Football Conference (OVFL) and Thomas A Stewart Griffins of the Central Ontario Secondary School Athletics (COSSA).
