Reputation sway (VIDEO)

Hamilton defensive lineman joins OUA team.

Reputation is everything.

Case and point for Courtney Ellis.  The 6’1, 240 pound defensive lineman from Hamilton, Ontario recently signed with the Windsor Lancers for the 2014 OUA season.

“From my visits and what I’ve heard from friends and teammates (Luke Imre) that are attending University of Windsor, it’s a great school all around and some of my teachers have spoken highly of their music program which I plan on entering,” explained Ellis of his decision.  “Distance was also a factor with other schools and the three hour drive to Windsor isn’t much of a hassle for staying close to family.”
“I feel like Windsor is the best fit for me and I look forward to competing for a spot on the defensive line.”

Among the teams Ellis has played for are the Hamilton Hurricanes of the Ontario Football Conference (OFC) and his high school team, St. Thomas More Knights of the Hamilton Wentworth Catholic Athletic Association (HWCAA).
