Staying locally

Tecumseh linebacker signs with OUA team.

There was never a doubt where Jordan Thrasher would play CIS football.

The 5’11, 200 pound linebacker from Tecumseh, Ontario will suit up for the local team, Windsor Lancers.  Thrasher will join the team for the 2014 OUA season.

“I committed to the Lancers because Windsor is my home and I have grown up watching and rooting for them my whole life,” explained Thrasher of his decision.  “I’ve never had any intention of going anywhere but the University of Windsor to become a Lancer football player.”

Thrasher played at both the linebacker and running back positions for the L’Essor Aigles of the Windsor and Essex County Secondary School Athletic Association (WECSSAA).  During his time there, he was named Arnott Division Defensive MVP.
