Adrien Guay and Charles Tremblay created unstoppable offensive magic yesterday at the 2013 Wilson Challenge tournament.
The offensive standouts led the two time champions Rive-Sud Quebec to a 30-0 shutout victory over Outaouais.
Guay, Rive-Sud’s pivot racked up 86 passing yards and one passing touchdown as well as 130 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns in the victory. He connected with Tremblay in the first quarter for a score and then ran into the end zone for his own 31 yard major. Soon after, Guay found Thomas Giguere for an 11 yard touchdown. Tremblay scored his second major, this time a 15 yard score to put the game out of reach.
Defensively, Samuel Lapierre registered five tackles and three sacks. Moreover, Antoine Campagna caught two interceptions in the victory.
For Outaouais, defensive back/special teams players Kaelan Fyfe had a kickoff return of 25 yards, caught one interception and had five tackles.
Guay was named Player of the Game for Rive Sud while Fyfe was the Player of the Game for Outaouais.
Rive-Sud will now play Montreal Monstars on Wednesday July 10th at 6:00pm.

MONTREAL MONSTARS 30, LEVIS LAURENTIDES LAUNADIERE 0:
The Levis Laurentides Launadiere experienced a long day out on the field as the team could not muster anything offensively against a tough Montreal Monstars defensive unit. Consequently, the Launadiere were shutout 30-0.
Monstars quarterback Jonathan Senecal had 141 passing yards and two passing touchdowns in the win. Cedric Deusma scored two majors while racking up 174 yards on six carries. Additionally, Juwan Edghille had 61 receiving yards on three carries and found the end zone once.
For the Laurentides, Emric Hamelin registered eight tackles while Benoit Lapointe chipped in with seven tackles. Matthew Fuoco has a quarterback sack to go along with five tackles.
Senecal was named Monstars Player of the Game while Hamelin picked up top honours for the Launadiere.
The Monstars now move on to battle defending Wilson Challenge champions Rive-Sud Quebec on Wednesday July 10th at 6:00pm.
WMFL ELITES 13, METRO SCOLAIRE 12:
In an exciting defensive battle, the MWFL Elites defeated the Metro Scolaire 13-12.
The Elites won on the last play of the game when quarterback Chris Karabatos connected with receiver Tyler Cabel for an 18 yard touchdown.
Bruno Senechal amassed 89 rushing yards and scored a touchdown for the victors. Defensively for WMFL, Jonathan Wilding eight tackles.
Receiver Youssef Hilout led Metro Scolaire with a 50 yard return, 31 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Marcus Pluviose amassed 87 rushing yards. Defensively, Tristan Poirier caught an interception and registered seven tackles in a losing cause.
There were seven total turnovers in the game.
Cabel was named Player of the Game for the WMFL Elites while Hilout nabbed top honours for Metro Scolaire.
The MWFL Elites move on to play Montreal Metro on Wednesday July 10th. Kickoff is at 8:30pm.
MONTREAL METRO 28, MAURICE ESTRIE CENTRE DU QUEBEC 8:
Running backs William Marchand and Isaiah Gallo Demetris led a solid offensive attack to propel the Montreal Metro to a 28-6 victory over the Estrie Centre du Quebec.
Demetris scored the first touchdown of the game for the Monstars on a one yard run.
The Metro now move on to play the WMFL Elites on Wednesday July 810h at 8:30pm.
