2014 BCFC All-Stars announced

The British Columbia Football Conference is pleased to announce the All Stars for the 2014 regular season.

 The Langley Rams have a Conference high eight players named as All-Stars, while the Okanagan Sun have seven players named.

 There are 26 players in total that have been named as BCFC All-Stars.  The All-Star Returner and Major Awards winner will be announced next week.

 Offensive Line:

Spencer Lang – Langley Rams
Michele Vecchio – Okanagan Sun
Cliff Crews – Okanagan Sun
Cameron Brown – Kamloops Broncos (second consecutive year)
Jamie Wandell – Langley Rams

Running Backs
Alex Bradley – Okanagan Sun (second consecutive year) – 77 carries, 672 yards, 5 touchdowns and an average of 8.7 yards a carry helped him win the 2014 rushing title.
Jacob Palmarin – Kamloops Broncos – 91 carries*, 613 yards, 1 touchdown and an average of 8.7 yards a carry

Receivers:
Marshall Cook – Vancouver Island Raiders – 64 catches*, 1,084 yards* and 9 touchdowns
Jordan Rodinsky – Westshore Rebels – 45 catches, 840 yards and 6 touchdowns
Daniel English – Langley Rams – 39 catches, 862 yards and 9 touchdowns
Derek Yachison – Kamloops Broncos – 49 catches, 765 yards and 5 touchdowns

Quarterback:
Liam O’Brien – Vancouver Island Raiders – 171 completions, 2,842 yards*, 20 touchdowns*, a completion percentage of 64.5% and an efficiency rating of 113.1%

Defensive All-Stars

Defensive Line:
Dylan Roper – Langley Rams – 11 tackles, 7 assists, 10 sacks, 2 fumble recoveries, one knockdown
Ash Gayat– Vancouver Island Raiders  (second consecutive year) – 19 tackles, 9 assists, 3 sacks, 1 fumble recovery, 1 knockdown
Alex Agnoletto – Langley Rams – 23 tackles, 15 assists, 4 sacks
Zac Ironstand – Okanagan Sun – 12 tackles, 5 assists, 6 sacks, 1 knockdown, 1 fumble recovery

Linebackers:
Dylan Chapdelaine – Vancouver Island Raiders (fourth consecutive year) – 27 tackles, 20 assists, 1 sack, 2 knockdowns, 1 forced fumble, 2 interceptions
Chris Pastro – Westshore Rebels (second consecutive year)– 37 tackles*, 16 assists, 3 sacks, 2 blocked kicks,  1 forced fumble
Ethan Schulz – Langley Rams – 23 tackles, 14 assists, 4 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 4 fumble recoveries, 1 touchdown, 1 interception

Defensive Backs:
Brennan Van Nistelrooy – Okanagan Sun (third time) –19 tackles, 8 assists, 2 sacks, 1 blocked kick, 4 knockdowns, 2 fumble recoveries, 1 forced fumble, 2 interceptions
Robbie Yochim  – Okanagan Sun (third consecutive year) – 34 tackles, 4assists,  1 blocked kick, 1 forced fumble,  4 interceptions, 1 touchdown

Place Kicker:

 – Langley Rams (second consecutive year) – 19-24 in field goals, longest of 44 yards, 79.2%
