In a wild Ontario Prospect Challenge Underclassman battle at TD Place in Ottawa, there was one constant – Jejuan Sparks in the backfield.
Sparks was part of a very stout defensive line that limited Team East’s offense to outside the tackles. Sparks, with a host of tackles behind the line and a few sacks, was constantly in the backfield.
For his efforts, he earned Underclassmen Defensive MVP.
“It means so much to me,” said Sparks after acceptance of the honour. “It means every hill I ran was worth it, that’s why I was able to play both ways.”
Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
