Kamloops Broncos vs Vancouver Island Raiders – 1 pm at Caledonia Park (Saturday, October 12)
On paper this contest figures to be a mismatch with the Raiders, who finished atop the league standings with an 8-2 record, going up against the 2-7-1 Broncos, who barely managed to squeak into the playoffs. The Raiders capped off their fantastic season with a 71-0 win over the Rebels while the Broncos were thumped 51-0 by the Sun in their regular season finale.
Langley Rams vs Okanagan Sun – 2 pm at Apple Bowl (Saturday, October 13)
If the Rams hope to repeat as Cullen Cup champions, they’ll have to do it without the benefit of home field advantage. The Rams lost three of their last six games to close out the regular season dropping them from first place all the way down to sixth. The Sun, meanwhile, are red hot having won four in a row to close out their season and just losing out on first place due to a tie-breaker.
