CFC Coaches clinic is proud to announce the University of Toronto’s Ken Mazurek will participate in Saturday evenings ‘chalk talk’ session. The Chalk Talk sessions are an open x’s and o’s format that will have an offensive, defensive, and special teams format. A white board and markers will be the tools of choice during the ‘chalk talk’.

Ken Mazurek returns for his fifth season on the Varsity Blues coaching staff. In 2013 punt and kick returner Kevin Bradfield was the 2013 first team all Canadian kick and punt returner and set a new school record for single season and career punt return yards.
He was a receiver for five years with the Blues and was the recipient of the team’s award of merit in 2004 and 2005. Before his career as a Varsity Blue, Ken played three years in his hometown of Lethbridge, Alta., with the Catholic Central Cougars as their quarterback, earning all-star recognition and the team’s most valuable player award. He returned to coach the Cougars for the following four spring seasons, specifically working with their quarterbacks and receivers.
In 2008, Ken coached Varsity Blues starting quarterback David Hamilton, who was named a CIS offensive player of the week, ranked sixth in the nation with 2139 passing yards and was U of T’s first recipient of the CIS Russ Jackson Award.
Ken also enjoyed a stint as a player-coach with the Montabaur Fighting Farmers of the German Football League in 2010 and 2011.
