Even though it’s a new year, CFC is reflecting back on 2013.
It was a year of highlights and low points. There were many triumphs, agonies of defeat and upsets. We witnessed some historic moments and records that were shattered. Recruitment was stronger than ever. Old friends decided to make a return on the national stage. Some teams continued their provincial and national domination while all and all, it was an exciting year on the national football front in 2013.
After a lot of consideration, a list has been compiled of CFC’s TOP 10 Canadian Football Stories of 2013. While there were many to choose from, these were the impact stories.
10 Maleek Irons – He completed a great 2-year run at W.J. Mouat high school in Abbotsford, British Columbia. Back-to-back 3000 yard rushing seasons and a commitment to FBS school OHIO.
