CFL announces Week 17 player fines

TORONTO – The Canadian Football League announced today that it has fined Calgary Stampeder slotback Nik Lewis for comments he made via Twitter that were critical of CFL officiating during last Saturday night’s game against the Saskatchewan Roughriders. It’s important to note that Lewis did not dress for the game.

As per league policy, the amount of the fine was not disclosed.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
