Wednesday, November 4, 2015 — Toronto (November 4, 2015) – In an extension of the original partnership agreement between the Canadian Football League (CFL) and Shaw Communications Inc., Shaw has committed an additional $50,000 dollars to distribute to the top 3 Shaw CFL Top Performers of the year that will be distributed to Canadian charities or not-for-profit organizations chosen by the players.
In the overall standings, the player that finishes first will receive $25,000, the second place finisher will receive $15,000 and third will garner $10,000 for the charities of their choice.

SHAW CFL TOP PERFORMERS OF OCTOBER
Henry Burris, Mike Reilly and Adarius Bowman were named the Shaw CFL Top Performers of the Month for October of the CFL’s 2015 season.
Performer of the Month includes all appearances from Week 15 to Week 19.
The three players were chosen by a panel of judges who independently send their selections to the CFL head office. The panel includes former Canadian Football League players Matt Dunigan and Duane Forde of TSN and Pierre Vercheval of RDS.
QB | HENRY BURRIS | OTTAWA REDBLACKS
Ottawa REDBLACKS pivot Henry Burris notched his second consecutive Shaw Top Performer of the Month award following his October stretch of play.
Burris’ best game came in Week 15 against the Montreal Alouettes where he set a new CFL record by completing 45 completions in a single game. In the 39-17 victory, Burris passed for 504 yards and completed 84.9 percent of his pass attempts. He was recognized for his performance by being named a Top Performer for that week.
Between Weeks 15-19, Burris passed for 1,724 yards and completed 73.1 percent of his passes including six touchdown passes. He guided the REDBLACKS to a 4-1 record and helped punch their ticket into the playoffs and secured a home playoff date.
This season Burris leads the league in passing yards (5,335) and has thrown a total of 20 touchdowns, with a pass completion rate of 71.2 percent.
Alongside his two Top Performers of the Month awards, Burris was also named a Top Performer of the Week during Weeks 5, 13, 15, 17 and 18.
QB | MIKE REILLY | EDMONTON ESKIMOS
Mike Reilly was named a Shaw CFL Top Performer of the Month after leading the Eskimos to a 5-0 October record.
Weeks 18 and 19 may have been Reilly’s best stretch to this point of the season. During those two weeks Reilly passed for 685 yards, notched six touchdowns and completed 71.6 percent of his passes in the process, garneringt him Top Performer accolades for both weeks.
Overall during Edmonton’s October games, Reilly compiled 1,579 passing yards and passed for nine touchdowns. This helped the Eskimos secure not only a home playoff date, but first place in the West Division.
The Eskimos are enjoying a bye during the final week of the regular season. Reilly finished his 2015 campaign with 2,449 passing yards and 15 touchdown passes in 10 games
SB | ADARIUS BOWMAN | EDMONTON ESKIMOS
Joining his teammate Matt Reilly, Edmonton Eskimos slot back Adarius Bowman has been named a Shaw Top Performer for the month of October.
Bowman accumulated 558 receiving yards on 37 receptions (15.1 yards per reception) while scoring a pair of touchdowns during the Eskimos’ undefeated month.
During a two week stretch, Bowman was named Shaw Top Performer of the week twice. In Week 16 he recorded 11 receptions for 198 yards and a major against the BC Lions. Bowman followed that incredible performance with an even better one, notching 12 catches for 208 yards and a touchdown against Saskatchewan in Week 17
Bowman finished his 2015 season by achieving his third 1,000 yard season (1,304 yards), setting a career-high seven touchdowns in a season and reaching the second-highest number of receptions in a season of his eight-year career with 93.
Bowman was named a Top Performer on three occasions this season in Weeks 12, 17 and 18.
