CHARBONNEAU CAMPEAU, PLESIUS ET MILO NAMED PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Receiver Simon Charbonneau Campeau of the University of Sherbrooke Vert & Or, linebacker Frédérick Plesius and kicker Christopher Milo both of the Laval University Rouge et Or, have been selected as the Quebec University Football League’s (QUFL) players of the week for the period ending November 14.

Highlights : Receiver Simon Charbonneau Campeau made six catches for 187 yards and a pair of touchdowns as the Sherbrooke Vert & Or fell 22-17 to the Laval Rouge et Or in the 2010 Dunsmore Cup in Quebec City. The biotechnical engineering student set a new Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) record when he scored a 108-yard touchdown in the second half.

Highlights : Laval kicker Christopher Milo booted a trio of field goals from 24, 29 and 17 yards out to led Laval to the 2010 Dunsmore Cup championship on Saturday. He had a 42.3-yard average on 13 punts and 62 yards on a pair of kickoffs.
