Joseph started playing football at the age of 11 with the Toronto Thunder organization. In high school he plays for David & Mary Thompson. He enjoys the game (“best sport ever invented”) and hopes to pursue his dream of playing professionally one day. He has two younger brothers following in his footsteps. In a 2010 high school game he scored 5 touchdowns against the Malvern Knights.
His most memorable football experience was “playing down south in Chicago at a windy city tournament. We went 3-0 score over 100 points, and letting up 0, that is the year my team went 12-0 with a peewee championship. In the tournament I scored the first TD on a 50 yard kickoff return.”
The most influential people in his football career are “Sebastian Clovis, who is my current defensive coordinator. He’s taught me a lot about being a defensive back in the OVFL, getting myself, as well as my teammates, ready for university or pro ball. Another one would be, Roberto Allen “coach bubba”. He has been my coach for 2 seasons in Junior Varsity, and he just knows what he’s talking about. Both great coaches to have and great guys to be around as well.”
