The GTA All Stars of The Northern Football Conference today announced The C.M.F.L. Championship game will be played in Hamilton on September 26th with a 5pm kickoff.
The game to be played at the brand new Tim Horton’s Field will pit The NFC Champion GTA All Starsbased out of Toronto taking on the best of The Alberta Football League.
The AFL representative , The Calgary Gators will be coming off a victory over The Ft McMurray Monarchs and looking for a victory over the NFC after losses the last two years. The game which will be the 16th edition of the game and the two teams will be battling for The Sid Forster Memorial Trophy.
The NFC are the current champions as The Montreal Transit won their second championship in a row with a 49-26 victory over The Calgary Wolfpac last September in Calgary.
The All Stars will be led by head coach Didi Nwagbo and veteran’s QB Tom Dennison and WR Ricky Clarke.
