As expected Quebec dominated team New Brunswick in the opening round of the Football Canada Cup.  From the opening whistle the score result was never in doubt.

Michael Arruda (OVFL Myers Riders / Falcons Philemon Wright) started at QB for Quebec and orchestrated some impressive drives including some great throws on the run.  The first big play was an TD pass to Danny Debrosse-Smith Danny mid way through the 1st quarter.  On the next drive Arruda called his own number on a QB keeper.  Afterwards Quebec has 2 touchdowns called back.  First an interception, pick 6 by Nicholas Plourde-Hector Quebec was nullified by an offside penalty.  The following Quebec offensive possession had a long TD pass called back but Édouard Montemiglio scored a 48 yard TD to put Quebec up 21 to 0. Another TD (34 yards) by Édouard Montemiglio made it 28 to 0.  A Jonathan Thebaud TD and a rouge made it 36 to 0 at half.
