The Toronto Gay Football League (TGFL) has opened registration for its 2011 season, which runs from mid-May through late September (including playoffs). Games are on Thursday nights and played on a new astro-turf field near downtown.
Fees are $70 and include jersey, field permits, insurance, and equipment. We are open to people of any sexual orientation (gay, straight, bi, etc.) as long as they support our mission of being an inclusive league. People of any or no skill level are welcome. People able to play quarterback are especially valued. Equally competitive teams will be formed based on a mix of skill levels. To join, you must attend a skills assessment day (TGFL combine) that will enable us to determine everyone’s starting skill level. We had 5 teams in our 2010 season and are growing to 8 teams.
