RSEQ will partner with CEGEP Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu Geants football club for the presentation of the next two Bol D’or championships. This event crowns the top college and youth football teams.
Thus, the 39th and the 40th edition of the Bol d’Or will be held for the first time in its rich history at the Alphonse-Desjardins stadium at CEGEP Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Montérégie.
“It could not be a better time for the presentation of this great football festival welcoming the best teams in Quebec,” said Annie Mathieu, advisor to student life at CEGEP Saint Jean-sur Richelieu. “Presenting an event of this magnitude in the 45th anniversary of the Geants football team give a unique character to this sporting event.”
“The BOL D’OR is a symbol of vitality and the quality of student football played throughout the province,” said Alain Roy, RSEQ Director General. “More than 16,000 student-athletes live their passion for the sport in more than 400 teams and the three elements combine daily network action: sports, education, pride!”
Thus, the championship conquest is part of a long tradition of sport among students in Quebec and gives the opportunity to see the evolution of promising student-athletes that will compete in the coming years in their studies and sports and more serve as models for the youth of Quebec.
Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
