The undefeated Varsity Hurricanes Football Team travelled to London to do battle with the Forest City Thunderbirds.
Quarterback Kyle VanWynsberghe ran in a touchdown and threw touchdown passes to Emmett Putt, and Jake Williams.
Back up quarterback Liam Putt threw a touchdown pass to Jordan Brucculeri and number three pivot Zach McNeil threw one touchdown to Aldis Witolla.
Running back Jason Ledonne had another strong performance with two rushing touchdowns while running back Jake Reddick added the other.
The defense was stingy, achieving it’s fourth straight shut out in as many games. Tyler Swick, Jordan Brucculeri, Will McCowell and Leslie O’Keefe all created turnovers and also forced the Thunderbirds to give up a safety score.
When the final whistle blew the Hurricane’s had defeated Forest City 61-0 and improve to 6-0 on the season. The Hurricanes Face the 4-2 Guelph Bears this Saturday at McMaster University.
