Manager of Football Operations & Head Coach
You will ensure that the environment in the football program promotes the holistic development of student-athletes and manage the overall football program including budgets, personnel recruitment and evaluation. Specific responsibilities will include coaching, recruiting, and monitoring the academic progress of student athletes, managing the football teams staff, and designing and delivering revenue-generating programs which meet the programs financial objectives. As well, you will be responsible for building relationships with alumni, the media, and the entire Wilfrid Laurier community. You will report to the Director of Athletics and Recreation. The program receives significant support from the football alumni, and the Laurier students in partnership with the University. Your strong sports managerial experience coupled with a technical background with practical coaching experience at a highly competitive level will be reflected in the results that you have achieved. Leadership competencies will include the ability to identify long term goals while delivering success on the field on a consistent basis. You possess the values that are aligned with our high standards. Your preferred qualifications include a minimum of a Bachelors degree, Level III NCCP certification, five years of experience, and proven competence as a manager and coach.
